WHO ARE WE?
VADC Was started on Wednesday, 30th March 2016 by @dasabel100 on Infinite Flight Community.
'I felt it was time for a change. So many new VA's were created every week that it was going to become a chaos if no action was taken. Others have already helped. For example, @Alan_Perez on Infinite Flight Community, who created the Virtual Airline Database. Or @Skylines on the community, who created a guide to starting a professional Virtual Airline. With help of others we have built a reliable checking system to attempt to improve airlines that already exist, to avoid airlines having to shut down because of copyright reasons and to make it easier for the VA's staff too.'
So, how does it work?
It's easy. If we can't find any inappropiate content on your site, you added correct disclaimers that cover every aspect of your site not designed or created by yourself, your VA is not a duplicate or in any way contradicting with other virtual airlines, and your site contains mostly correct information that is easy to read and does not contain lots of grammatical mistakes, you are granted the "Approved by VADC" image.
(Download below). If you show this badge on your site, you are given in return:
- Full protection against duplicate virtual airlines
If a virtual airline is created with the same name as yours, without
needing the staff to interfere, VADC will make clear there is already a
similar VA. If the airline continues and does not change it's actions, we
will contact you.
- Full protection against copyright infringement on your site
If something from your site is stolen and it was yours, VADC will claim it
back and make sure it is deleted of the website of the other VA(s).
Again, if the airline continues it actions, we will contact you.
Use of the badge on your site, while your site has not yet been approved by us, is strictly prohibited. We make sure to note which airlines have been approved and which haven't. If we find out that you did this, we will contact you so we can take further steps.
You will then also be displayed as 'Unsafe' on our VA display.

Now what?
When you receive this message, this means we have blocked you as VA for one or multiple of the following reasons:
- The use of onacceptable or inappropiate content on your site, or as a site/page name such as, but not restricted to,
discrimination, unacceptable sexual words or references, the defaming of rival VAs, inappropiate photos and videos
- The use of spam (receiving of lots of unneeded advertisements within a short period of time, from the same (email)
address) when one enters personal information, such as their email address or real world address
- Asking for personal information, while this is not needed, such as, but not restricted to, phone number (might be needed,
depending on the situation this may or may not count as reason to block), home address
- To some extent ignoring the advice of VADC
Remember, if you are blocked, this has a good reason.
We will not block you without asking you first to change/delete/add certain data on your website. Only if we feel you are not listening to us, we might consider a block. If your VA exists of multiple people working as staff, we will have a group talk to solve the problem. If you are one person on a VA, but there are others, please invite them too, so we can solve the issue with everyone involved.
If you are blocked, we will make sure to list you as 'Unsafe'.
You will be blocked off of all VADC websites for as long as your block is active.
Remember only to add this to your site if your website has been approved.
